The Japan Sustainable Seafood Award (JSSA) started to activate the sustainable seafood movement in Japan.
It recognizes the projects/efforts for seafood sustainability in Japan that year and honors the most impactful practice as “champion”.
The award will be given to projects by individuals, including students, under the age of 30, or organizations primarily comprised of individuals under the age of 30. Projects aimed at making the fishing industry sustainable can also be submitted at the concept or process stage.
