There are approximately 150 different fisheries eco-labels in existence around the world.inside that,Approve seafood eco-labels that meet the standards set out in the FAO guidelines.The Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI), a program that supports the development of seafood that meets the needs of all seafood consumers, has now approved the MEL (Fisheries Standard Ver. 2.0, Distribution and Processing Standard Ver. 2.0, and Aquaculture Standard Ver. 1.0) run by the Marine Ecolabel Japan Council.

At this workshop, GSSI Managing Director HermanWe invited Mr. Visse to give us an overview of GSSI’s organization andWe will provide details on the background of this approval, including a Q&A session.I have a question.
